This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do....
My time here at WFRE has been short, but long enough to learn to appreciate the listeners who tune into WFRE everyday to spend the afternoon with Conrad and me.... Many of you have called, showed up at so many live events just to meet me and say “hello.” I really do treasure the thought that I’d be an important enough part of your day for you to stop by to say hi.
Frederick is one amazing “small town.” I say that because even though you are one of the largest cities in Maryland you show the BEST attributes of a small town. When a member of our community needs something....,you are there. When we ask for help for St. Jude, you are there....When I ask for you to join Team WFRE and represent Frederick or sponsor a walker. You are there – without a question.
Leaving WFRE is not an easy thing to do. My listeners – YOU – have become an extended part of my family. TEAM WFRE – We’ve shared some amazing experiences and been completely soaked in the pouring down rain together. My work family, especially my sidekick Conrad, have always been there for me and provided memories that will last a lifetime. I’m moving on now to new opportunities but am thrilled to have this chance to say “goodbye” and “Thanks” to the many clients I've gotten to know... My amazing co-workers and most importantly my listeners.
A Deep Fried TWINKIE Burger????? I'm normally open to trying new things but this scares me a little. Lol
