"I'm proud to get together with some others from around here who are just as committed as I am to supporting these communities." Keith will bring in friends Garth Brooks, Ronnie Dunn, Willie Nelson and Trisha Yearwood to help him perform at the July 6 Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert. "Once we got the news that the tornado had hit Toby's hometown, Miss Yearwood and I told Toby we were at his service for whatever he chose to do," Brooks says. "It is an honor to get to be a part of this healing process." The show will be held at the University of Oklahoma's Memorial Stadium in Norman, with proceeds to benefit the United Way Of Central Oklahoma's May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

Mayor Keith Summey delared the entry road to the North Charleston Coliseum will be called Darius Rucker Boulevard. Formerly Coliseum Drive, the stretch of pavement honors Darius for his ongoing charitable work in the town. Meanwhile, Rucker's 4th Annual Darius And Friends Benefit Concert and Celebrity Golf Tournament in Nashville raised more than $95,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The events were held in Nashville June 3-4.
» No Shoes, No Shirts, No Empty Seats: “I don’t think about stuff like that,” Kenny Chesney says after learning he's already sold more than a million tickets to the 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour. “All I’m trying to do is make sure that for that one night when people come out to party with us, they forget what’s wrong, they have all the good time they can handle and they go home feeling like they had the best night of their summer." The tour accountant reported 1,089,000 tickets sold so far and they ain't done yet.

» The Highwayman: Craig Morgan recently helped attend to an interstate highway accident Sunday (6/9) outside his hometown of Dickson, TN. Morgan was returning from a concert date when two semis and a tanker collided in front of their tour bus. Morgan ran to the scene to help extinguish flames and make sure everyone was alright. “Anytime there’s a situation like this, I think it’s important to do what we can to help others," Craig says. His televsion program Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors on The Outdoor Channel premieres its fourth season July 7.
