Started as a goof at a Nashville record label two years ago, No Shave November has (pun alert) grown into a huge (and hairy) fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Casey James and Thompson Square's Kiefer Thompson are among the artists championing the cause, which basically involves not shaving and raising money. More than $50,000 has been pledged so far, already exceeding last year's total, with James and Thompson's teams leading the pack at the halfway mark. » Pro Choice:Jason Aldean was at Paley Center in Beverly Hills this morning (11/15) to help announce The People's Choice Awards nominees, which include Blake Shelton (Favorite Male Artist), Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift (Favorite Female Artist) and Shelton, Underwood, Swift, Aldean himself and Tim McGraw for Favorite Country Artist. Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is up in the category of Favorite Song and Underwood's Blown Away is nominated for Favorite Album. The show airs live Jan. 9 on CBS-TV.

» Are You Gonna Read Me Or Not?Thompson Square will publish a novel based on their song "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?" The book shares the chart-topper's title and centers around David Winters and Zoe Spark, two characters who fall in love when paired to write music for their high school musical. Travis Thrasher will co-author. The book will be released through Howard Books June 4.
» How Bazaar:Taylor Swift is featured on the December/January cover of Harper’s Bazaar and admits that before she was featured on magazine covers, she used to rip pages from them. "I was 15 and going to prom for the first time, and I saw that picture of Gwyneth in the pink gown," Swift says.
